Bayu Aji Handayanto, a milk collector from Pasuruan who previously poured milk in protest, was moved to tears as the government, including the Minister of Agriculture, the Minister of State Secretariat (Mensesneg), and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan), listened to and addressed the farmers’ aspirations.

💬 Bayu’s Words: “I represent the dairy farming community in villages and we feel deeply touched because today we feel like we have a new father in the world of dairy farming. We are moved because our aspirations were heard by Mentan and other officials.”

Bayu expressed his gratitude for the smooth dialogue with the milk processing industry, where Minister Amran mandated the industry to absorb milk from local farmers. He also appreciated the decision to include milk in the list of Basic Needs and Important Goods (Bapokting), providing further protection for local farmers.

💬 Bayu’s Appreciation: “Everything went smoothly. We are touched that our struggle was swiftly addressed. We thought we had one demand, but the government granted us 10. Many thanks to the government, especially Minister of Agriculture and President Prabowo.”
